Zabriskie Point, Michelangelo Antonioni. I met Mr. Antonioni through Dean Tavoularis, the art director and Ray Summers, the costume designer on this film. From there, my role grew from being Mr. Summers’ assistant on the costumes to being deputized by Antonioni to help him meet other young Americans and learn about American culture. It helped that I knew how to play gin rummy - 1968-1969
